Tasting note

The vineyards in the Rioja Alta and Rioja of Alaba, the tempranillo grapes usen in making this wine como from 50 year- old vineyard situated at approximately 500 meters above the sea level and characterized by predomitately loamy, calcium-rich soils. The Reserva wines ins characterized by its chery colors with hints of terra cotta and a clean, bright medium body. 18 months in American and Frnch oak, decanted periodically in the cellar, and given and addictional 24 months to refi me in bottle while awaiting release from our cellar.
